1) Teams can consist of up to 5 players. Each player must pay their $5 before they can participate
2) Cathedral students only
3) The last team standing AND the team with the most kills at the end of the game are the winners and will split the prize money. These can be the same team
4) Documentation (picture) of a kill must be tweeted @CHS_nerfwar within 24 hours of that kill or it WILL NOT COUNT
5) Any Nerf or off brand dart gun is allowed. Guns, disc shooters, ball shooters, bows, and swords are all allowed (no footballs)
6) Breaking into a house is not allowed unless permission AND proof of permission (picture, note, e.t.c.) by someone inside of the house is provided
7) Respect all safe zones (found under the “safe zones” tab). Any safe zone is a kill-free zone at all times. Breaking this rule will void the kill and possibly result in further consequences
8) No car chases
9) No kills can be made from cars, feet must be on the ground at all times (see extended car rules under the “Safe Zones” tab)
10) Treaties can be made between players, but at the risk of those involved
11) Picking ammunition up from the ground is allowed
12) A shot to the gun does not count as a kill
13) All shots must be direct hits (no ricochets or bounce shots)
14) If it is discovered that a player has lied about being shot, they will be disqualified
15.) Generally, no custom guns allowed. Any modification to a gun must be checked with a game administrator before it can be used in the Nerf War
16) Stealing guns is not allowed
17) If an argument arises over the legitimacy of a kill, the case must be argued (in person or electronically) with the game moderators and both parties involved
18) No shields allowed
19) You cannot be shot, nor shoot anyone if you are completely naked
20) No shooting on school grounds, including both parking lots at any time
21) No player is allowed to bring any weapon of any kind (Nerf or otherwise) into school. Doing so will result in immediate suspension from the game and possible further disciplinary action (such as disqualification)
22) Do not hold players down to run out a grace period or to shoot them. If you’re a good shot or you have a solid plan, you shouldn’t need to do this 😉
23) If a team does not get one kill in one week, they are out. Each team is REQUIRED to kill at least one person per week
